How do I book a custom itinerary?
Send your wish list, travel dates, group size, and pickup and drop-off locations on WhatsApp or by email. Ade will help put together a quote. The team aims to reply within 24 hours.
Can I book a three-day or longer trip?
Yes. Pick the activities and destinations you’re interested in, then contact Ade to arrange a multi-day or multi-week trip. The existing service offers bookings without a deposit; confirm the arrangements for your specific itinerary when booking.
How much does a trip cost?
Taxi and shuttle quotes depend on distance, rather than time in traffic. The published guide is AUD $20–$60 for taxi and shuttle trips, AUD $50–$75 for a half-day guided tour, and AUD $90–$140 for a full-day guided tour. Your quote depends on route and group size. Ask about multi-day discounts and confirm the final price before booking.
What is included in the quote?
The quoted rate covers the car, driver, fuel, and hotel pickup and drop-off. Entrance tickets, meals, and optional activities are normally extra. We’ll discuss known extras such as parking and tolls when quoting, and check with you before any unexpected cost.
Can you arrange Mount Batur pickup and return transport?
Yes. The team can coordinate the journey from your hotel pickup through to your return. Discuss your hike and timing when booking.
Can you accommodate a group of nine or a lot of luggage?
We can arrange multiple cars and drivers, or a minibus if you prefer to travel together. Tell us your group size and luggage requirements so we can choose a suitable vehicle.
Can you book our accommodation?
Our focus is tour guiding and tailored trips. Please book your accommodation separately and send us the locations so we can coordinate your transport.
How far ahead should I book?
A few days ahead is recommended, especially in busy seasons. Last-minute arrangements may be possible, depending on availability and your flexibility.
How can I pay?
Cash in Indonesian Rupiah is accepted. Please check with Ade before booking if you want to use another payment method.
Will the driver wait while we explore?
Yes. Your driver waits during your stops. Let us know if you want extra time or photo stops so we can plan the day accordingly.
Can we change the itinerary during the day?
We’re happy to adapt where possible. If a change adds significant distance or time, we’ll discuss any additional cost before proceeding.
Can you collect us from the airport?
Yes. Send your airline, flight details, arrival time, and destination in advance so we can arrange your pickup.
What should I bring?
Comfortable shoes, sunscreen, a hat, and a light rain jacket are useful. Bring swimwear for water stops and clothing that covers shoulders and knees for temple visits. Ask about any activity-specific requirements.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If heavy rain or other conditions make a planned activity unsuitable, we’ll discuss an alternative route or activity with you.
Are tips expected?
Tips are appreciated but are not required.
What languages are spoken?
The driver speaks conversational English, Balinese, and Indonesian. If you need another language, let us know and we’ll see what can be arranged.
Can we finish at a different location?
Yes. Share the drop-off location ahead of time so we can organise the route and vehicle.
What is the cancellation policy?
The published policy allows cancellation without a fee with at least 24 hours’ notice. A short-notice cancellation may incur a fee to cover driver time. Confirm the policy and any fee for your particular booking with Ade.
